Free Motion Quilting: Let's Begin!
1355_patsy_thompson_i.jpg
Patsy Thompson is fast becoming one of our favorite teachers.  She explains that Free Motion Quilting is "..Fun, I mean really Fun!".  This is the first of 3 Beginning Free Motion Quilting Lessons.  The next lessons will come in the Weekend Fun of 2/19 & 2/26.  Three Intermediate lessons are almost finished and then 3 Advanced Free Motion Quilting classes from Patsy.
This lesson is for everyone.  The next lessons will be for subscribers only.
Coming soon you will explore the fun and beauty of the Hunter Star with Jan Krentz.  Then we make sure that everyone knows how to print photos on fabric.  Jeanie Sumrall-Ajero will start at the beginning.  From Camera to Computer to Printer to Project, Jeanie will walk you through the process and make it easy.
All this is our thank you for your membership! We are dedicated to making TQS the cheapest way to learn quilting this year.  The shows, the classes, 2 Blocks of the Month, and help from some of the friendliest quilters around.

We are still "Under Construction", but it's time to reveal the new bigger player!!  We have features still to add like Chapters, tags, other videos etc, so stay with us.
Click on the picture to see what we are talking about.  Be sure to click all the buttons and see what happens.  Make sure you have the latest version of Flash. (Go to Help>FAQ>Internet Speed to download the latest version.)
Try the big player, but if you have slow internet, be sure to click the Slow Internet Button for a player made for you.
Come back to the blog on Saturday to see a tutorial and get the story behind the new video along with the good and the "not yet perfect" of this new feature.  I'll give you a hint.  It did not solve the initial problem we were trying to solve.
