We like to go on day trips as often as possible, but can never decide where to go! When my dad was alive, he and my mum wrote place names on scraps of paper and drew straws to decide where to visit. So for my gift I made 'destination sticks'. They are lolly sticks, covered with pieces of pretty paper, sanded and stamped with a few local town names. I drilled holes in the ends and tied fancy ribbons, yarn and braids. She loved them, but as predicated said, 'Ugh, I don't want to go there!' after making the first draw!."
